Azure Brown

Azure is currently the president of ILUMIN Education, an educational consulting firm that provides expert college admissions counseling and life coaching support to high school students pursuing long-term personal and professional success. She has more than twenty years of experience helping teens achieve their goals and especially enjoys helping students develop their own effective and unique personal statements for college applications, a process that often begins with increasing self-knowledge and confidence.

Since 2009, Azure has been counseling students on all phases of preparing for and applying to college. Azure was also a Senior Admissions Evaluator and Counselor for the University of California. Azure read UC applications and advised prospective freshman and transfer students on the UC application process.

Azure graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in American Literature and received her teaching credential in English from San Jose State University.
